About the Role:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Service Administrator to join our Service team based in Port Moresby. This role primarily exists to provide administrative support to the Service Department to ensure that our customers receive the best quality product and service.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your competence and experience will include:

  • A strong commitment to Zero Harm and compliance with safety procedures and controls
  • Proven experience supporting service administration functions, including job setup, WIP management, and system maintenance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting service targets, turnaround times, and quality standards
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, working effectively with managers, supervisors, technicians, and vendors
  • Experience ensuring accuracy of service documentation, labour hours, job costing, and purchase orders
  • Capability to support cost control initiatives and resolve vendor or invoice discrepancies
  • Effective monitoring of job progress, WIP ageing, and escalation of issues when required
  • Competence in supporting KPIs, CPS metrics, reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Customer‑focused mindset, delivering a high‑quality, cost‑effective service and supporting minimal customer complaints
  • Well-developed administrative skills with strong attention to detail and accountability

About You:

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Year 12 Certificate is desirable
  • Tertiary Qualifications – Office Management/Business Administration
  • Minimum two years in a similar administration or workshop administrator role.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products, parts and services.
  • Strong customer focus, good communication, negotiating, planning and organization skills
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge working with Microsoft Applications (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Dynamics AX).
