Experienced EFODA – Orthodontic Assistant

Location: Bend, OR | Timber Kids Dentistry & Ortho
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Compensation: $28 – $31 per hour (DOE)

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide advanced orthodontic chairside assistance

  • Perform EFODA-approved duties in compliance with Oregon regulations

  • Assist with bonding, debonding, wire changes, adjustments, and bracket placement

  • Take orthodontic radiographs and digital impressions/scans

  • Maintain efficient patient flow and clinical organization

  • Deliver confident, professional communication with patients and parents

  • Uphold sterilization and infection control protocols



Qualifications:

You will be required to possess the following:

  • Active Oregon EFODA certification (required)

  • Prior orthodontic assisting experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and clinical workflow

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional

  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
