Must have 60 college hours and be able to obtain an emergency substitute license. You may apply for your license at www.ksde.org click on license application and follow the steps for Form 8-emergency substitute license (initial and renewal). It takes approximately 4-6 weeks for a license to be issued. Please contact Christa Chesmore at KSDE, 785-296-1105, for any questions regarding the licensure process.
