Job Description
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.

Responsibilities:  Performs assigned landscaping, horticulture and grounds keeping activities to include landscaping, lawn and plant care, pest control, irrigation, grounds maintenance and related functions.

Work schedule may vary, not to exceed 26 hours per designated workweek, which is Saturday through Friday.
 
Minimum Requirements: 
  1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
  2. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
  3. Experience in grounds keeping/ landscaping or participation in school training programs or organizations related to horticulture or landscaping is preferred.  
  4. Texas State Herbicide Pesticide license is preferred.
  5. Basic knowledge of hedge trimmers, weed eaters, pole saws, tillers and blowers.
  6. Must possess a current and valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
  7. Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
