About the Department
Under general supervision, performs full-performance level work in multiple step clerical tasks calling for interpretation and application of office procedures, rules, and regulations. This position will serve as an office assistant in the administrative section of the facility, and may be assigned to a housing unit as needed. This position will answer phones, greet visitors as they arrive at the facility, and enter data into the offender management system. Performs related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in routine office work.
Substitution: College hours, related business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
