POSITION OVERVIEW



We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician II to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as an active EPA Certification.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in commercial refrigeration systems and components, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and electrical controls

  • Perform maintenance and service repairs on ice machine/cooler/freezer and other refrigerated systems (Superheat/Subcooling/Delta T)

  • Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls

  • Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs

  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for customers

  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, recommended repairs, and maintenance procedures

  • Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques

  • Ensure team adherence to quality standards and project timelines

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT



This position reports to the local Vice President of Service and is responsible for engaging with the service team and all of our customers.
