Job Description

Organizational & Operational Cultural Development – 20%

  • Build and develop high-performing plant and supply chain leadership teams across the Labels Business Unit.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
  • Strengthen collaboration across operations, commercial, and enterprise functions to ensure alignment on growth priorities and customer commitments
  • Develop leadership capability and succession pipelines within operations and supply chain functions.

 Business Performance & Operational Execution – 50%

  • Deliver operational performance supporting the business P&L, achieving annual operating plan commitments across safety, service, cost, productivity, and margin while enabling profitable growth.
  • Ensure reliable service performance by aligning manufacturing, demand planning, production scheduling, procurement, and logistics to meet customer commitments.
  • Drive sustained operational productivity and cost improvement, achieving 3-5% annual productivity gains and margin expansion through manufacturing efficiency, labor optimization, asset utilization, and disciplined cost management
  • Improve working capital performance by optimizing inventory levels, production flow, and supply chain coordination while maintaining service reliability and responsiveness.
  • Lead a disciplined operational performance management system, using safety, service, cost, productivity, and inventory KPIs to identify gaps, drive corrective action, and sustain continuous improvement across the business.

 Strategic Operations & Business Growth Enablement – 30%

  • Partner closely with Commercial leadership to align operational capabilities with market opportunities, ensuring manufacturing capacity, service models, and supply chain capabilities support revenue growth.
  • Engage with key customers and end users to strengthen operational understanding of market requirements and ensure service, product availability, and operational responsiveness support commercial success.
  • Improve asset utilization and operational scalability by implementing initiatives that increase throughput, enhance equipment effectiveness, and strengthen cost competitiveness.
  • Ensure enterprise supply strategies translate into effective operational execution, partnering with Strategic Sourcing and enterprise supply chain leaders to deliver reliable supply and cost competitiveness.
  • Support acquisition integration and operational synergy capture by evaluating manufacturing capabilities, operational scalability, and improvement opportunities that accelerate value creation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing and supply chain leadership roles within industrial environments. Experience in converting, packaging, or specialty materials preferred.
  • Proven multi-site operational leadership, including direct responsibility for manufacturing performance across safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity.
  • End-to-end operational leadership experience, including manufacturing, planning, procurement, and logistics in support of complex production environments.
  • Strong P&L and financial acumen, with the ability to translate operational execution into margin expansion, productivity improvement, and working capital performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver sustained operational productivity improvements through manufacturing efficiency, labor optimization, and asset utilization.
  • Experience partnering closely with commercial leadership to align operational capabilities with customer demand, market opportunities, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Ability to engage with key customers and end users, translating market requirements into manufacturing and supply chain execution.
  • Proven track record of building and developing high-performing plant and operations leadership teams.
  • Experience implementing disciplined operational performance systems, using safety, service, cost, productivity, and inventory metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing complex supply chains and service-driven manufacturing environments where operational reliability directly impacts customer performance.
  • Experience in the pressure-sensitive label, variable information (VI) label converting, packaging converting, or related roll-based converting industries preferred, with understanding of service-driven manufacturing environments, high SKU complexity, and customer-responsive production models.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or commensurate experience.
    • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
