POSITION TITLE: Food Services Truck Driver – 9 months
LOCATION: Food Production Center
STATUS: Classified – Non-Exempt, Full Time
HOURS OF WORK/CALENDAR: Monday through Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, 175-day Calendar
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing support to the warehouse operations in the transportation of food, equipment, and/or supplies to designated sites. This position is expected to maintain vehicle in a safe and sanitary operating condition. This position is part of the Food Services Team and reports to the Food Services Supervisor.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist warehouse personnel as needed and/or assigned to maintain warehouse operations.
· Load, transport and unload equipment, food items, and supplies for the purpose of preparing items for transport to assigned location.
· Maintain files and records (e.g. return tickets, delivery logs, routes, mileage, etc.) to convey information and for written documentation.
· Maintain assigned vehicle (e.g. fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, tire pressure, etc.) to ensure safe operations of vehicle and sanitation of transported food.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid Driver’s License and Evidence of Insurability

· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with interruptions
· Ability to perform basic math

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the performance of heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The position requires the performance of frequent balancing, carrying, climbing, fine finger dexterity, lifting, pulling, and pushing. The position also involves occasional crawling, crouching, grasping, kneeling, and stooping. The position typically involves 50% sitting, 40% walking, and 10% standing. This position is performed under some temperature extremes and in varying atmospheric conditions.
