Under the general supervision of the Manager, Nursing Services, and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Work is of a very confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.
-Graduation from a Nursing Education program and current NC or
multistate RN licensure required.
-The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and
react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent,
adult and geriatric patients.
-CPR certification required and provided.
-ACLS, PALS required.
-TNCC is recommended.
