Role Profle: Technical Specialist
Role Summary
The Technical Specialist acts as a vital link between dormakaba’s internal teams and external stakeholders—such as distributors, consultants, and partners. This role combines technical expertise with customer focus to deliver tailored access solutions across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical and commercial inquiries for all dormakaba product portfolio – (AHS, AAS-ESA, ESC and ACS exclude LGS[Hospitality]).
- Provide guidance on product selection, configuration, and compliance with standards.
- Support negotiations with technical input and follow up on quotations.
- Participate in sales discussions, product presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Prepare and review quotations, proposals, and tender documents by working together with the sales personnel
- Track and management opportunities using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Advise stakeholders on product compatibility and optimal selection.
- Ensure offers meet technical feasibility and customer expectations.
- Support multi-product projects and share market feedback with internal teams.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure feasibility, quality, and timely delivery.
- Contribute to product improvement by relaying customer insights and technical feedback and working with the Product Marketing Management team (PMM)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in technical sales support or project sales, preferably in building products.
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, CRM systems, and MS Office.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English
You will be report to the Country Manager, Malaysia/Indonesia based on Indonesia Office.
