Job Description

BCBA Associate Clinical Director- Grow as a Leader, Inspire a Team 

Location: Sacramento, CA.
Job Type: Full-Time 

 

Position Summary

The Associate Clinical Director plays a key leadership role in developing clinical talent and supporting operational excellence within the clinic. This position partners closely with the Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) to drive performance, mentor clinicians, and ensure high-quality ABA services are delivered across the site.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Leadership

  • Provide BCBA and case supervision aligned with clinic needs
  • Develop, oversee, and evaluate individualized ABA programs
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and review clinical reports
  • Lead monthly provider meetings to address progress and utilization
  • Support parent training and caregiver collaboration

Operational & Administrative Oversight

  • Monitor key clinic metrics: census, service hours, utilization
  • Ensure team meets billable expectations and service delivery goals
  • Support onboarding, staffing, and client intake processes
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, mandated reporting, and company policies
  • Partner with DOCS on clinic operations and reporting

Team Development

  • Train, mentor, and support BCBAs and clinical staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
  • Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and clinical excellence

Business & Strategy

  • Support clinic financial performance (P&L awareness)
  • Analyze KPIs and implement strategies for growth and efficiency
  • Drive initiatives that improve service delivery and outcomes

 

What You Bring

  • Active BCBA certification (required)
  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • 2+ years of clinical ABA experience
  • 2+ years of BCBA supervision experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations and service settings
  • Ability to manage both clinical and operational responsibilities
