- Provide direct mental health care to students navigating emotional, behavioral, and social challenges
- Support early identification and intervention for mental health and substance use concerns

- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student success

🔍 What You’ll Do
🧠 Clinical Care & Counseling
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
- Provide individual and group counseling
- Deliver evidence-based interventions (age-appropriate and trauma-informed)
⚠️ Crisis Intervention & Risk Assessment
- Perform safety and risk assessments (including suicidality)
- Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans
- Triage students based on urgency and level of need
🤝 Collaboration & Care Coordination
- Partner with school counselors, nurses, teachers, and administrators
- Engage families in care planning and support
- Coordinate referrals to community-based services when needed
🌱 Prevention & Student Support
- Support early intervention and prevention strategies
- Facilitate group sessions and skill-building activities
- Promote resilience, coping skills, and healthy decision-making
🗂️ Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
- Adhere to all licensing, ethical, and organizational standards
⭐ What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field
🚨 REQUIRED: Active licensure with the NH Board of Mental Health
- Current BLS Certification

🕒 Schedule & Compensation
This is a .73 FTE, salaried (exempt), benefits-eligible school-based position. Work is performed on-site during the academic year, aligned with the school calendar. While students are not in session year-round, employees remain on payroll and receive consistent pay throughout the entire year, including school breaks and summer months.
