Duties

Provide studies, analyses, reports, recommendations, and staff assistance for the Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS).,Conduct comprehensive analysis and studies to increase economy and efficiency of operations.,Plan, design, coordinate, analyze, integrate, and disseminate Defense Health Agency (DHA) MEPRS policies and directives, procedures, regulations, reporting requirements, and standard business practices.,Provide assistance and MEPRS technical guidance to Commanders, staff officers, managers, and MEPRS personnel,Collaborate with command and contractor computer specialist/analyst to design and test programs to meet these requirements.

Specialized Experience Management Analyst GS-0343-12: One year of specialized experience which includes: aiding in the evaluation of the Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS), assisting with system improvement recommendations, and utilizing resource management systems (e.g., GFEBS, MEPRS, EAS, MHS GENESIS, WAM, and DMHRSi). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Specialized Experience Management Analyst GS-0343-13: One year of specialized experience which includes: analyzing healthcare system data, evaluating the Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS); providing system improvement recommendations; and utilizing resource management systems (e.g., GFEBS, MEPRS, EAS, MHS GENESIS, WAM, and DMHRSi). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
