Job Summary:

Environment Control Central Cal is seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individuals to join our janitorial team. This position is ideal for those looking for flexible evening or night shifts, whether as a secondary source of income, while attending school, or for those who prefer overnight work.

Essential Job Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing main areas, hallways, offices, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairways as specified by the customer
  • Emptying wastebaskets, removing trash, and placing bags into designated dumpsters
  • Mopping floors using proper techniques and equipment
  • Operating a backpack vacuum to clean carpets and hard floors
  • Unpacking and organizing cleaning supplies in designated areas
  • Maintaining a clean and organized janitorial closet

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old (or meet legal working age in California)
  • Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs and perform repetitive movements such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to follow safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals in compliance with Cal/OSHA standards
  • Prior janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required—training will be provided

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Work is primarily performed indoors in commercial buildings
  • Evening/night shifts allow for flexible scheduling
  • Must be available to work assigned shifts, including possible weekends or holidays as needed
