Cabarrus Health Alliance is pleased to provide internship opportunities allowing current College/University students to gain valuable career-related experience. Internships may be available in various fields of study through the different departments in the agency. These departments can include: Behavioral Health, Community Impact, Dental, Environmental Health, and Support Services.
The application will give you the opportunity to list your area(s) of interest. We evaluate applications on an ongoing basis to identify matches between student and agency needs. While space is extremely limited for practicum experiences, we are able to accommodate other opportunities for student projects and short-term internships more frequently. Internship inquiries will be forwarded to your selected department(s) for their review and consideration.
This application is not for clinical practicums/rotations. For information about clinical opportunities, please visit https://cabarrushealth.org/285/Employment-Information.
Please note that all internships are contingent upon availability of the appropriate projects/tasks in your requested department, as well as successful completion of the background process. Our program is designed to help you gain practical experience that prepares you for future professional success. Therefore, student Interns will not receive monetary payment.
