Are you interested in tax, data, and international business? Do you enjoy working with details, systems, and regulations?
We are looking for a motivated Tax Intern to join our Indirect Tax team, supporting day-to-day compliance, reporting, and process improvements in a multinational trading environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Tax Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation and review of indirect tax reports (VAT and customs).
Data Management: Extract, reconcile, and validate data from ERP, accounting, and trading systems.
Compliance Tools: Support uploading and processing data in tax compliance platforms.
Documentation: Maintain tax and customs files, documentation, and audit trails.
Research: Conduct basic VAT, customs, and invoicing research under supervision.
Monitoring & Controls: Support checks on VAT numbers, invoices, transaction coding, and imports.
Process Improvement: Contribute to internal projects related to tax processes, automation, and system enhancements.
Transfer Pricing: Provide support in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with finance, accounting, and operations teams to collect required information.
What we are looking for:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Taxation, Customs, or a related field
Basic understanding of VAT, customs, excise, and transfer pricing (academic knowledge is sufficient)
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Good Excel skills and willingness to develop further
Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is a plus
Ability to work with data accurately and meet deadlines
Good command of English (written and spoken)
Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
