Job Description
MANTECH seeks a skilled and mission-focused CNO Software Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD.
 
In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced CNO capabilities that directly support national security. You’ll work in a collaborative environment focused on solving complex technical challenges in support of our customer’s most critical missions.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and develop new hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities
Assists with the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of applications software and systems
Develop data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
Apply knowledge of security concepts and network technologies
Ensure software engineering standards are consistently met
 
Minimum Qualifications:
BS Degree in a technical discipline and 7+ years of experience in software development or software engineering, or High School Diploma and 11+ experience in software development or software engineering
Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering
Understanding of assembly programming concepts
Understanding of CNO development concepts
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and practices
 
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph prior to start, if required
 
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
