Job Description

Our business model is simple, but our impact is mighty: we are a marketplace of moms who help other moms live a life without laundry.

Description

We are a women-owned laundry and organizational platform that was founded in March of 2022. Ally and Mary Catherine (the owners) are long time high school friends who are extremely passionate about creating a way to 'lessen' the most time consuming household burden - LAUNDRY!

In a nutshell: Our platform consists of women who help other women, families and businesses “lessen their loads,” get organized and ultimately live a life without laundry (and clutter)! Our laundry and organizational specialists offer an array of in- and out-of-home services.

A bit about us: The Lessen the Loads platform consists of about 75 women who live in and service the following counties: Berks, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia. In addition to those counties, we service parts of Wilmington DE and surrounding areas. LTL Laundry Specialists love helping “lessen the load” and enjoy going above and beyond for members of the community (aka clients). Our platform is always looking for like minded individuals who want to offer their services & be a part of something different - a company that truly cares.

Our Internship Program, offers a unique opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs and business students to dive into real-world projects that directly support our operations and customers. Our program strives to accomplish the following:

About the Company

Here at Lessen the Loads, we pride ourselves on being unique - in every sense of the word. From our business model to our mission, we directly support and encourage women, most especially moms, to care for their families in whatever capacity that may be. Whether that care is financially (by joining our LtL team) or psychologically (by receiving our services), we are an organization that continuously strives to “lessen the loads” for all moms in today’s society.

We believe in women and families. We believe in flexibility and affordability. We believe in giving. We believe in local communities. We believe in asking for help.
