Breakfast Host

Would you like to welcome our guests to the breakfast bar each morning
with the ability to deliver excellent customer service by providing an
enjoyable dining experience?  If so, being
our Breakfast Host with us may be the
job for you!  Our Breakfast Host will
ensure that our guests are satisfied and will look forward to another awesome
experience with us!  

JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and attentive
    service to guests; interact with guests and answer questions that guests
    may have pertaining to their dining experience; become familiar with our
    hotel, services offered, hours of operation, nearby places of interest,
    etc.
  • Set up and maintain the hot “On the House” breakfast and
    breakfast bar each morning by following the hotel franchise breakfast
    guidelines; be familiar with breakfast items and beverage choices
  • Collapse breakfast bar and dining area each morning;
    replenish and restock breakfast items to prepare for the next day;
    communicate with hotel management regarding inventory of all breakfast
    products and any additional feedback
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the shift that
    meet the county health codes and the hotel quality assurance requirements;
    practice clean-as-you-go procedures for breakfast bar, dining and
    preparation areas
  • Monitor and continually replenish breakfast bar as needed to
    ensure guests have a variety of breakfast items to select from; ensure
    that the breakfast display and dining area are always clean and
    appealing 
  • Comply with sanitation regulations, guidelines and safety
    standards pertaining to food products; protect establishment and patrons
    by adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines 
  • Perform other tasks as necessary or required to meet or
    exceed guest satisfaction

 

PROFESSIONAL
EXPERIENCE

·        
High-school graduate or equivalent and
a minimum of six months work-related experience (food and beverage,
waitstaff/server, banquet experience - preferred)

·        
Excellent customer service skills

 

 

INDUSTRY
EXPERIENCE

·        
Previous experience in the hospitality
industry (preferred)

·        
Previous experience as Server or
Waitstaff (preferred)

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

·        
Must be flexible to work varied
schedules

·        
Excellent written and oral communication
skills

·        
Ability to listen attentively

·        
Must have the physical ability to
walk, bend, and stand for long time periods

·        
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

·        
Must adhere to grooming and appearance
standards in alignment with uniform
