The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team based in Port Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your insights will directly support business performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly and monthly management reports, including detailed variance analysis across Contract Logistics business units nationally
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis processes
  • Provide financial insights and support to operational teams
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support business improvement initiatives through financial modelling and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Liaise with the national finance team and assist during audit processes
  • Support compliance requirements, including GST, FBT, and income tax reporting

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar management accounting role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems
  • Exposure to Oracle Financials and/or Microsoft Great Plains (highly regarded)
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain (advantageous, not essential)
