Job Description

Winpak is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to play a key role in supporting core human resources and administrative functions.

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator, reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, to support onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative operations. The Human Resources Coordinator will build strong collaborative relationships, coordinate HR activities, and support the delivery of key HR programs and initiatives

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system updates, and employee integration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Lead new employee orientation and support a positive onboarding experience.
  • Manage employee services such as lockers, uniforms, parking, and access credentials.
  • Provide administrative support to HR, including preparing correspondence, reports, and employee documentation.
  • Administer HR systems and programs, including learning management, recruitment, and performance tracking.
  • Coordinate training initiatives, external courses, and employee development activities.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and company events.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assist with HR projects, reporting, and compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative and/or human resources role.
  • 2+ years of experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) similar software.
  • 2+ years of experience demonstrating strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • 2+ years of experience in a role that required exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience handling confidential information with a high level of discretion.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Previous experience coordinating onboarding/offboarding processes and employee programs is a strong asset.

Additional Information:

  • Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Work Location: 100 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba (full-time onsite position)
  • There is limited bus access to this location.
