The Woodbridge School District is looking to expand our pool of substitute custodians and is seeking qualified applicants to substitute for school custodians at our elementary school. Substitutes are not permanent employees of the district and work schedules vary depending on level of need. Candidates should have flexibility in hours and locations required.  Substitutes are contacted for work based on needs, which vary. Work schedules can vary in frequency and duration, are not guaranteed and can be either daytime (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) or 3:00 - 11:30 PM. Experience in building cleaning and maintenance is desirable as well as the ability to apply common sense and follow written and oral instructions while relating to students, staff and public in a courteous manner.  

The position requirements include:
(1) knowledge and demonstrated skills related to daily cleaning and building maintenance;
(2) previous experience in custodial routines and procedures preferred;
(3) good interpersonal relationship skills;  
(4) demonstrated record of reliable performance and attendance;
(5) ability to lift and carry objects of 25 - 50 lbs.
