The Quality Assurance Document Control Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for shipments and inspections, preparing quality documentation to support customer and supplier requirements, and maintaining required training and certifications for multiple customers. This role works closely with manufacturing, quality, sales, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure compliant documentation and positive customer interactions.

 


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare and maintain customer quality documentation, including certification packages, Certificates of Conformance (COC), inspection reports, and related records.

  • Support First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation by collecting product measurements, inspection data, and supplier inputs per customer requirements.

  • Coordinate and support outgoing quality audits and inspections; perform inspections as required.

  • Assist with supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and maintain customer process documentation.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to update and control documents, drawings, and procedures.

  • Participate in internal audits as a member of the auditing team; develop, revise, and review quality system documents as needed.

  • Use the sales order checklist to verify and fulfill customer requirements prior to shipment.

  • Support customer visits and external audits; communicate professionally with customers and source inspectors and consistently represent Timken positively.


 


Education & Experience



  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to learn new processes effectively.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Preferred: experience using inspection equipment and basic blueprint reading skills.

The starting pay range for this position is $19.50 - $22.50 per hour based on experience.
