    Description:  SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT


    Qualifications:  

     1. Have 60 College Credit Hours (TRANSCRIPTS ARE REQUIRED, UNOFFICIAL ACCEPTED) or
     2. Have completed two years (60 semester hours) of college coursework from an accredited institution, or
     3. Have passed a state-approved examination of content knowledge and pedagogy

    *TRANSCRIPTS WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED IN PERSON OR UPLOADED DURING APPLICATION PROCESS*

    Job Description:
    1. Image laptops
    2. Add printers for staff
    3. Promethean boards – calibration, connectivity, pens and answer questions
    4. Projectors – Troubleshoot issue, change bulbs, general maintenance
    5. Desktops and monitors – check cables and connectivity
    6. Laptops – staff and students resolve basic issues such as making sure wireless is connected, applications are working, and assist with basic use of device.
    7. Troubleshoot hardware issues
    8. Inventory – responsible for keeping inventory correct
    9. Help tickets – responsible for working tickets, closing them and assigning hours to the tickets.
    10. Other duties as requested by school administrator
    11. Ability to work with others
    12. Must pass a  background check
    13. Must pass a screening for tuberculosis before starting work
    14. Must pass a  background check
    15. Must pass a screening for tuberculosis before starting work

    Length of Employment:  9 MONTHS - 192 DAYS

    Salary:  PARAPROFESSIONAL SALARY SCALE

    FLSA: NON-EXEMPT
