Job Description

The LNG HAZMAT Driver will provide extensive knowledge, experience, and leadership for the safe transportation of all natural gas products & projects. The role will be to operate and maintain equipment, support LNG and CNG delivery, and ensure overall project success while providing top-level customer service and leadership in the field. This position will report directly to the Director of Transportation.

The LNG HAZMAT Driver must reside within 30 minutes of Muskogee, OK (74401). The route information for the LNG HAZMAT Driver will route roughly 600+ miles round trip. The LNG HAZMAT Driver load LNG in Hawkins, TX (primarily could change based on supply availability). The LNG Driver will then return the loaded trailer to a site in Muskogee, OK and offload the fuel. The driver should plan to be over the road and make a full turn each day. The role requires flexibility to travel over the road for extended periods, including multi-day or multi-week assignments.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely operating company equipment associated with the delivering, loading, and off-loading of LNG and CNG
  • Understand applications and limitations of company equipment.
  • Participate in pre-job planning and implementation activities as required.
  • Set up and move equipment to and around project locations.
  • Able to identify potential issues with company equipment as well as able to identify other issues during pre/post trip inspections.
  • Properly report equipment defects, accident, traffic violations or damage to equipment
  • Operate mid to heavy duty vehicles alone and combined with trailers.
  • Secure cargo for transportation, using chains, binders, tarps, bungee cords, and ratchets.
  • Adequately document daily activities including hours of service, fuel tracking and all DOT regulations
  • Understand and ensure compliance with company standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Have a sound understanding of DOT regulations, internal policies, government safety and regulatory standards, and ensure these polices, and standards, are applied to daily activities and job sites.
  • Maintain a clean environment inside and outside of assigned vehicle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
