The Support Service staff member is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for children, staff, and families along with serving meals and assisting in the classroom. 

Details for Classroom Support Services Opening in Carson

• $17.00/hour
• 32 hours per week.
• Children attend Head Start on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays are set as classroom preparation and staff work day.
• Work 9 months per year and enjoy the summers off! If interested, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Adheres to all principles of confidentiality:
• Assist in the classroom.
• Clean the classroom, bus, and related areas.
• Meal service and cleanup.
• Attend the Safety and Sanitation training.
• Make a list of needed groceries and supplies.
• Maintain playground - i.e. snow shoveling, mowing, ice removal, sweeping sidewalks, pick up trash, etc..
• Report monthly mileage.
• Pass CPR and First Aid
