The Team
In FFIO Test Engineering Chapter, we work in partnership with Product Leads and Product Delivery leads that align to FFIO to promote testing practices, implement test automation, and execute testing in support of technology-based initiatives.
The Role
In this role, you will be collaborating with a team of technologists enthusiastic about promoting testing practices, implementing test automation, and executing testing with development and business partners!
- Review test strategies with stakeholders and ensure that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, acceptance etc. are covered.
- Developing and maintaining automated suites/Frameworks of tests to assess product quality and release readiness.
- Developing Automation Framework related to application functionality.
- Train teams on test management
- Conduct manual testing.
The Expertise You Have
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
- 5+ years of software product experience working on commercially available software.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and enforcing the overall program test plan with stakeholders based on evolving schedules and timelines.
- Ensuring that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functionality, performance, acceptance etc. are covered.
- Experience reporting on the test progress, product quality status, and overall test results to initiative stakeholders.
- Financial services and Agile/ Scrum experience
- A bachelor’s degree or greater is required.

- Design and maintain robust UI and API automation frameworks leveraging Java, Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript-based UI validation (Angular applications), and RESTful web services.
- Intermediate Java skills
- Experience with Cypress preferred
- Good understanding of web services testing
- SQL skills is a must
- Data analysis and technical troubleshooting
- Build efficiencies in testing that increase agility and time to deliver business value.
