VIVA Railings is seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to operate a standard mill machine at our production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, drill press operations, and general machinery maintenance. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Operate and manage the standard mill machine with a high degree of proficiency.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand the specifications and tolerances of the finished product.

  • Adjust and set up machinery for specific jobs, including selecting the appropriate tools and materials.

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and routine repairs on the mill machine to ensure optimal performance.

  • Use a drill press and other machinery to perform secondary operations as required.

  • Measure and inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and company standards.

  • Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.

  • Manage materials inventory and report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.

  • Record production data and machine operation logs for quality assurance and efficiency analysis.

  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with machinery advancements and best practices.
