Job Description
Banco Sabadell is seeking a Project Finance candidate to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.  

Responsibilities 

• Analyses projects and transactions, in order to identify and pursue business opportunities in Structured Finance.

• Prepares proposals about transactions to obtain approval from Credit Committees, consistently with Banco Sabadell's Structured Finance strategy.

• Interacts with Credit Analysts in order to solve any questions or concerns raised during the Credit process of any proposal that has been submitted to Credit Committees.

• Interacts with technical advisors as well as legal counsels in order to obtain any information that is needed in the evaluation process of a Project.

• Responsible for the closing process for new and existing deals.  

• Build and manage client and financial institutions relationships.

Requirements 

• Knowledge in Structured Finance, including but not limited: Project Finance, LBOs, EBLs, Corporate Loans, either in Syndicated or bilateral structures.

• Knowledge of energy and infrastructure market dynamics and regulation in the region assigned. Desirable to have basic knowledge of market dynamics and regulation of other countries where Sabadell is active in the Project Finance sector. 

• Knowledge of the main technical features of different power-producing facilities: utility scale solar, wind, hydro, CCGTs and LNG.

• Math, Probability analysis, financial planning and modelling

• Negotiation and commercial ability

• Intermediate/expert user knowledge level of Word, Excel and Power Point.

• 3+ years of work experience in financial sector

• Expertise in the core business of the unit that will be assigned to: Structured Finance/Project Finance

• Knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures in US and, to a certain extent, in Spain.

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field

• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
