Job Description

Job Title: SCITES – Help Desk Technician 

Location:Guantanamo Bay Cuba 

Required Clearance:TS with SCI Eligibility – can start with SECRET clearance 

Certifications: 8570 IAT Level II and Microsoft MD 100  

Required Education:  High School or GED equivalent 

Required Experience:  3-5 Years 

Position Description:   

Exeter is looking for a Help Desk Technician to work at Guantanamo Bay Base in CubaSuccessful candidate will monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructionsThis contract provides housing for hires, medical insurance paid for by the contract and work is considered overseas, so may be tax free.  You will have to consult your accountant as to how it applies to you. 

Primary Responsibilities:   

  • Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems 

  • Receives calls and records user data using ServiceNow software 

  • Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments 

  • May enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices 

  • Apply skillset to a multitude of peripheral devices as you troubleshoot issues 

  • Gathers data for creation of user accounts and guides new users through mandatory training  

Required Qualifications:  

  • TS with SCI Eligibility – can start with SECRET clearance  

  • High School or GED equivalent  

  • 8570 IAT Level II and Microsoft MD 100 

Desired Qualifications/Experience: 

  • Customer Support and ServiceNow experience a plus
