Job Description

Summary



Leads day-to-day operational activities pertaining to truck checking in and trucks checking out. Coordinates with truck drivers, requesting the proper pick-up/drop off information. Effectively coordinates with sales and yard supervisors regarding trucks in yard. All while maintaining a safe a clean work environment.



Responsibilities




  • In addition to the Responsibilities of “Customer service/Shipping & receiving window”:

  • Effectively communicates with department supervisors and upper management. Utilizes email to communicate with Sales and operations departments

  • Manages the truck check in screen.

  • Manages and monitors changes to orders currently checked in. Notifies the loading supervisor of any changes/request made by sales.

  • Coordinates with Sales with requests (priority levels, removing orders from check in & expediting a truck)

  • Processes and handles packing lists and delivery tickets.

  • Makes sure all outbound drivers sign out properly and take pictures of the truck.

  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment
