Position Summary:

- As part of the provision of pharmaceutical care, the Pharmacist provides prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals consistent with ethical, legal, regulatory and professional (Pharmacy Practice) requirements. Reporting to the Director, the Pharmacist is responsible for the functions of Pharmacy Practice including patient profile and MAR Management, consultation and/or verification with prescribing physicians, distributive functions, accurate dispensing documentation, and supervision of the Pharmacy Technician functions.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy D is required.

Experience:

- One (1) year of clinical, hospital or health system based pharmacy experience is preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

- Licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Mississippi or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity is required.
