About QBE

  • At QBE, we get to the heart of what matters for our customers. And we do it all with a human touch.

  • We’re an international insurer with more than 13,000 people working across 26 countries – which means we’re big enough for your ambitions, yet small enough for you to make a real impact. It’s an exciting time. We’re building momentum towards our vision to become the most consistent and innovative risk partner.

  • What if you could have a positive impact – at work and in the world? As part of the QBE team, you’ll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind.

Your new role

You’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality, end‑to‑end case management services, including:

  • Managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims

  • Supporting injury management and return‑to‑work planning in collaboration with all stakeholders

  • Building strong, proactive relationships to ensure timely, compliant and sustainable claim outcomes

About you

We’re open to candidates from a range of claims and case management backgrounds. Experience in self‑insurance is highly regarded but not essential.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in workers compensation or claims management, across any scheme

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain outcomes clearly and confidently

  • A genuine sense of empathy and resilience, supporting people through injury and recovery

  • Working knowledge (or the ability to quickly develop knowledge) of workers compensation legislation

  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment

  • The confidence to influence and engage a broad range of stakeholders
