Position Overview
The Manager of Revenue Management is a strategic role responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing revenue management programs that drive margin improvement and competitive positioning for AEG Fuels. This position owns the strategic tier of revenue programs, partnering with the Director on high-impact initiatives while leading program development and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Ownership
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of strategic revenue management programs
- Own the Extrapolation program: develop and implement extrapolated margin models on scheduled cycles
- Build and maintain customer forecasting processes for volume and behavior prediction
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks and pricing response strategies
- Create and execute shortage opportunity strategies to capture margin during supply constraints
Aggregator & Channel Strategy
- Develop strategic plans for third-party fuel aggregator onboarding and relationship management
- Coordinate with IT on integration requirements while owning business logic and prioritization
- Manage aggregator pricing agreements and performance monitoring
Executive Communication & Analytics
- Prepare and compile data for C-Level monthly presentations
- Develop margin adjustment strategies in response to supply contract renegotiations
- Create pricing strategies for holidays, special events, and high-traffic periods
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Team Collaboration
- Participate in collaborative program design sessions with the full Revenue Management team
- Coordinate with the Revenue Analyst on tactical program handoffs and data requirements
- Interface with external teams (IT, Sales, Operations) on technical requirements and program impacts
Required Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of experience in analytics, revenue management, pricing, or commercial strategy
- Advanced SQL proficiency (CTEs, window functions, performance optimization on large datasets)
- Strong Power BI skills (dataflows, DAX, data modeling)
- Python proficiency for automation, data analysis, and modeling
- Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions independently
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder coordination and executive presentations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aviation, fuel, or logistics industries
- Background in pricing optimization or revenue management systems
- Experience with forecasting methodologies and demand planning
- Knowledge of API integrations and data pipeline concepts
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
