Job Description

Job Summary: The Machine Sales Representative is responsible for the business development and ongoing maintenance of heavy equipment customers within assigned sales territory.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities in the sales department to include the following, but not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining a solid base of customers for heavy equipment sales
  • Promoting the sales of all Equipment lines and customer support programs.
  • Maintaining targeted company profit levels on sales.
  • Ensuring customers are kept current with manufacturer’s information.
  • Maintaining high levels of product and service knowledge
  • Taking positive action to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting competitive market data.
  • Frequently visiting customer facilities and job sites to investigate current and future equipment needs.
  • Continually developing assigned sales territory and increase customer base.
  • Attend sales training to remain adequately informed of all heavy equipment products and services
  • Other duties as assigned.
