DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

A technician who assists the Emergency Department staff in carrying out a variety of patient care, clerical and procedural tasks for the patients presenting in the department.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional/Educational
-
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
-
At least 17 years of age.
-
Currently Certified by IDPH as a CNA, currently licensed as an EMT/Paramedic, or equivalent experience required.

Certified by the American Heart Association in CPR required.
-
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

Ability to follow directions accurately.
