As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between buyers, sellers, and lending institutions, ensuring that all aspects of property transactions are handled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for reviewing trust deeds, mortgages, and ownership records while overseeing the escrow process through to successful closing.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, and lending institutions
  • Manage the receipt, transfer, and secure holding of escrow funds
  • Review and verify legal documents, land ownership records, and title accuracy
  • Prepare closing statements and finalize real estate transactions
  • Examine mortgages, trust deeds, and related financial documents
  • Review and summarize title search reports and supporting documentation
  • Obtain property reports and drawings from assessors and surveyors
  • Oversee ownership documentation and ensure proper title verification

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (additional certification preferred)
  • Valid escrow certification
  • Prior experience in escrow, title, or real estate transactions
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of legal procedures, regulatory requirements, and property law.
