As a Digital Specialist you play a key role in shaping high-quality, accessible digital learning experiences for higher education students across diverse markets. By customizing and localizing content in both English and Arabic, you directly enhance how learners and instructors engage with McGraw Hill’s platforms, ensuring relevance, usability, and educational impact from day one.
What is this role about?
This role focuses on building, managing, and optimizing digital course experiences across McGraw Hill’s higher education platforms. It spans the full digital product lifecycle from concept and development to launch, maintenance, and eventual sunset.
You’ll work at the intersection of content, technology, and customer experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver blended learning solutions that meet pedagogical, technical, and accessibility standards. The role also involves supporting localization efforts and ensuring smooth product setup and delivery through various distribution channels.
What you will be doing:
- Build, configure, and quality-check digital course components across platforms
- Customize and localize content in English and Arabic for MEASAF markets
- Manage end-to-end digital production workflows, timelines, and milestones
- Collaborate with product managers, content, design, and platform teams to deliver solutions
- Support instructors and internal teams with product setup and technical guidance
- Ensure compliance with accessibility, content, and data privacy standards
- Conduct quality assurance including content validation and functionality testing
- Maintain and improve process documentation and identify workflow efficiencies
- Work with external vendors and internal Media Ops teams to ensure timely product releases
We are looking for someone with:
- A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in digital content, publishing, or EdTech
- Experience working with global or distributed teams
- Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG
- Strong technical foundation in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML)
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms, multimedia formats, and content management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools like Smartsheet
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects (10–15 annually) and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt quickly
