Job Title

Corporate Communications Manager DACH (all genders)

As the External Communications Lead for DACH, you will drive corporate communications across the German‑speaking region (DACH), including Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, while providing dedicated support for Bulgaria. In this role, you shape communication strategies, manage media relations, deliver compelling content, and ensure that global narratives are effectively localized for each market. You will collaborate closely with business units and regional stakeholders to strengthen Amadeus’ reputation and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead external communications for the DACH region, serving as the main contact for media enquiries, spokesperson preparation, and interview coordination.

  • Create, adapt, translate, and publish press releases, including upload and distribution on the Amadeus website. 

  • Develop and implement regional communications strategies, including the localization of global campaigns and programs across different Amadeus business units.

  • Produce market‑relevant content and support visibility at key industry events, including trade fairs and association conferences.

  • Coordinate crisis communication activities for DACH in close collaboration with product and global teams.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in external communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field, ideally covering DACH markets (minimum of 5+ years).

  • Fluent German and English writing, editing, and content‑adaptation skills.

  • Experience managing media relations and preparing spokespeople for interviews or public statements.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a fast‑paced, international environment.

  • Familiarity with tools like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and basic knowledge of crisis communication principles.
