Summary:

The Estimator is primarily responsible for determining the approximate cost associated with a vehicle�s damages and creating timelines for repair completion. This role also negotiates insurance payments and communicates repair details and costs to customers in a clear, professional manner.

What You�ll Do:

  • Examine damaged vehicle parts to determine repair, replacement, or repainting needs.

  • Assess vehicle damage through inspections and prepare detailed cost estimates for labor and parts.

  • Draft repair orders and enter them into CollisionRight�s system.

  • Prepare insurance forms to support repair cost estimates.

  • Communicate with customers about vehicle damage, insurance, and repair timelines in a professional and approachable way.

  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs.

What We�re Looking For:

  • 1�3 years of experience in the collision repair industry.

  • Strong working knowledge of repair processes, techniques, and materials.

  • Solid understanding of vehicle structure and ability to estimate for parts replacement (e.g., doors, fenders, windshields).

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs (and occasionally 70 lbs) and perform tasks requiring agility (kneeling, climbing, crouching, etc.).

  • Strong negotiation skills and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
