The Graphic Operations Lead ensures artwork quality and digital asset governance for packaging graphics. This role focuses on maintaining a centralized asset library, enforcing metadata standards, and enabling automation for asset lifecycle management. Acting as a content steward and quality guardian, the Graphic Operations Lead supports speed, accuracy, and compliance across thousands of SKUs while collaborating with technology and transformation teams.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain a centralized digital asset library for packaging artwork and related files.
- Define metadata standards, taxonomy, and version control protocols.
- Ensure assets are properly tagged for easy retrieval and compliance audits.
- Own artwork QC process, ensuring brand and regulatory compliance
- Implement automated QA checks for color accuracy, dieline alignment, and legal copy
- Manage day-to-day artwork routing and approvals within established SOPs
- Support automation pilots for metadata tagging and asset ingestion.
- Partner with Systems Lead on DAM configuration and integrations.
- Align with Program Delivery Lead on timelines for transformation initiatives impacting asset workflows.
- Champion AI adoption for asset tagging and QC
- Train internal teams on DAM usage and asset governance best practices.
What you bring
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or Operations Management.
- 5+ years in packaging graphics operations with automation and QC experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and workflow tools (Esko, Workfront, Nano Banana).
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with automation platforms (Esko, Workfront, AI-based QC tools).

- Ability to lead technology adoption and change management initiatives.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience implementing AI-driven compliance and artwork validation tools

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual. The target salary range is between $75,000.00 and $85,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
