CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Clinical Coordinator to work at our Chestnut, PA location.
Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.
- Schedule patient appointments, testing, follow-ups, and surgical procedures
- Coordinate surgical scheduling to ensure a smooth process for patients and clinical teams
- Obtain prior authorizations and precertification for office testing and procedures, including
- Echocardiograms
- nuclear stress tests
- stress echocardiograms
- vascular testing,
- home sleep studies
- Review testing instructions with patients and confirm upcoming appointments
- Enter charges during patient visits and designated downtime
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls using proper phone etiquette
- Record and relay messages accurately using EMR workflows and appropriate medical terminology
- Route urgent or emergency calls appropriately
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and collecting copays
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties as needed
- Maintain accurate contact information for physicians and staff
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Cardiology experience is a plus
- Electrophysiology device knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Hospital and Procedure scheduling
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
