You will serve as a vital link between clients and field operations, fueling the expansion of a thriving division within a woman-owned general contracting firm with a 50-year legacy. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Coordinate commercial painting projects by managing bid portal processes and preparing comprehensive project startup packages.

  • Develop a robust clientele base by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with building management and subcontractors to ensure every phase of production meets strict budget and timeline requirements.

  • Oversee diverse trades including specialty finishes, epoxy, powder coating, and drywall installation to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Execute critical project close-out procedures, including punch walks and the submission of all necessary administrative documentation.

  • Facilitate real-time problem solving and logistical support to assist the division in scaling its Southern California operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and MS Project.

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain high performance in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for high-profile client interaction.

  • Physical ability to move up to 50 pounds of equipment and safely navigate ladders on job sites.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of recent experience in commercial tenant improvements and project management.

  • Proven expertise in plan reading, project scheduling, and accurate profit forecasting.

  • Direct experience with unit cost, design-build proposals, and general contract regulations.

  • Background in analyzing subcontractors and qualifying project scopes during the bidding phase.
