About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing/Laboratory Technician to support the production and quality control of Solvita test kits. This role is primarily focused on manufacturing, assembly, and QA/QC, with some involvement in soil laboratory testing.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, maintaining quality standards, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing & Production

  • Manufacture, assemble, and package Solvita test kits
  • Perform quality control using DCR and RGB scanner systems
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
  • Support production and QC of DCR and IRTH units
  • Monitor workflow and assist with daily manufacturing operations
  • Maintain inventory of production materials and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, and SOPs

Laboratory Support

  • Prepare and analyze soil samples (pH, nutrients, texture)
  • Operate LECO instrumentation (carbon/nitrogen analyzers)
  • Record data using LIMS and internal systems
  • Assist with R&D, calibrations, and product development

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or lab environments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow SOPs and perform repetitive, high-volume tasks
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Computer and data entry proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with QA/QC, GMP, or GLP standards
  • Familiarity with soil testing or lab procedures
  • Experience with LECO instrumentation or LIMS
  • Background in agricultural, environmental, or manufacturing settings
  • Previous experience in production workflows or team coordination
