Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at Towson Culinary, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to provide medical nutrition therapy and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities:

  • Directly provides nutrition services according to policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements

  • Collaborates with the Dining Services Department Head to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment

  • Acts as a liaison between the dining department and clinical staff

  • Provides medical nutrition therapy and evaluates the effectiveness of treatments

  • Develops and implements nutrition care plans in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations

  • Works effectively with others to ensure quality nutritional services are being provided on a daily basis

  • Consistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive our company's Purpose, Vision, Values, and DNA

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university

  • Master's degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited college or university starting January 1, 2024

  • Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed in the state of Maryland or acquires licensure and registration within 6 months of hire date

  • Familiarity with CMS mandate/guidelines for vaccination

  • Experience working in facilities utilizing quantity food production methods

  • Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to interact positively with residents, clients, interdisciplinary team, other personnel, and the public

  • Knowledge of dietary practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in a nursing facility

  • Leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and provide guidance to other personnel

Compensation:

  • $80,000 - $90,000 annually
