Job Description

St. Luke Lutheran Community -North Canton is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team as a Weekend Day Shift RN Coordinator at our large North Canton Campus. As an RN Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating nursing care for our residents, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compassionate care are met.

Schedule:

  • 2 x 12's, Saturday and Sunday

  • 7:00AM - 7:30PM

  • Every other holiday required

  • Option to work both weekends

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards

  • Coordinate and supervise nursing staff to ensure optimal resident care and adherence to established protocols and procedures

  • Report to the DON the status of residents, problem areas, and other related matter.

  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of staff performance and provide feedback and training as needed

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to provide comprehensive care to residents

  • Provide direct nursing care and pass medication as necessary

  • Participate in initial assessments upon admission

  • Meet with residents, and/or family members, as necessary

  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team processes including completion of assessments for MDS+

Requirements:

  • Valid and current RN license in the state of Ohio

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Long-term-care or other related health care facility experience
