Inspire Rehab is seeking a flexible full-time or part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (or OT) to work at Tri Valley Health System in the Cambridge, NE. As a PT, you will use your knowledge and critical thinking skills to help patients recovering from injuries or illnesses improve their quality of life. This position would primarily focus on outpatient care, with some nursing home and home health coverage.

Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
  • Lead therapeutic activities addressing ADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records.
  • Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies to support daily function.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions as appropriate under OT guidance.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
