Special Education Additional Information: Show/Hide - Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Monitor progress through systematic data collection and analysis and provide both direct and consultative support to staff.
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and IEP teams to develop goals, accommodations, and intervention strategies. Provide coaching and professional development in behavior analysis, classroom management, and positive behavior supports.
- Support school-wide initiatives such as PBIS and MTSS, strengthen behavioral systems and crisis intervention protocols, refine data-tracking systems, and maintain documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements, ensuring ethical practice aligned with BACB guidelines.
- NYS Special Education certification
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential.
- Demonstrated experience providing behavior analytic services in clinical and/or school settings.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Experience with PBIS or MTSS implementation.
- Experience coaching educational or clinical staff.
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and educational compliance standards.
