Job Description
Position Details 
  • Location: Randolph, VT  
  • Starting Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour (depending on experience) 
  • Additional $1.00 shift premium
  • Shift Details: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Core Hours) 
    • Monday - Friday 
    • OT as needed 
  • Full Time / Direct Hire

Machine Technician Duties Include 
  • Process and finish quality cast iron parts used in the manufacture of fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products 
  • Perform Drilling and grinding techniques along with basic machine operation, set up, and cleaning. 
  • Perform quality and safety checks to ensure products meet specifications 
  • Follow written and picture-based work instructions 
  • Accurately track production counts and work-in-process materials 
  
Required Skills & Abilities 
  • Basic reading & math skills  
  • Ability to follow written & visual work instructions 
  • Ability to communicate clearly  
  • Attention to detail and focus on safety & quality 
  
Preferred Skills 
  • Experience with hand tools 
  • Ability to safely lift, move and process up to 50lbs, using lift assist where needed or required 
Work Environment 
  • Manufacturing & foundry environment 
  • Exposure to heat, heavy materials, and industrial equipment
