Job Description

                                               HOME CARE AGENCY IS LOOKING FOR RN’s

                      WITH EXPERIENCE IN ADMINISTERING INTRAVENOUS INFUSIONS

                     LOCATIONS: RALEIGH, DURHAM, CARY AND  SURROUNDING AREAS

 

Home Care Agency is looking for the very best caring, compassionate RN’s to become part of our team. We are looking to hire highly qualified, dependable and experienced RN’s to administer IV Infusion Therapies to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities: 

  • Must be proficient with IV start skills 
  • Have knowledge about standard protocols for specific medications, and policies and procedures that apply to administering IV therapy. 
  • Determine appropriate venipuncture site, starts, administers and monitors IV infusions according to agency’s policies and procedures. 
  • Accurately and in an organized manner, document all nursing care and interventions in EHR and/or appropriate written forms. 
  • Report any adverse reactions to Director of Nursing and follow through on any ordered interventions. 

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Must have at least 1yr current experience in administering IV Infusions 
  • IVIG/SCIG experience preferred 
  • Current NC RN License 
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program 
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification 
  • Proof of current TB Test 
  • Valid NC Driver’s License and current insurance 
  • Must be able to function independently 
  • Prior home care experience preferred but not required 
  • Ability to communicate effectively – oral and written 
  • Basic Computer Skills 
  • Reliable Transportation 



Physical Demands: 

  • Combination of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hour
